As an affiliate marketing newbie You are told that back by creating links to your website is a great way to improve your websites ranking with the search engines.  So it is with all means work hard to build a very backward links to your web page, but here some areas should be avoided. There are links to your web page that can effectively reduce your ranking with the search engines, or even be banned from the site.

Link Farms: These are locations to a group that was created for the sole purpose of creating links back to other locations within the group.

Banned pages: one page has been banned back link to your site, the link can actually reduce your ranking with the search engines.

Link pages: These links are often called the recommended links pages or pages links directory. Link pages are pages to pages that contain all the links will be listed. Have you seen them in many locations.  Although from a link to such sites will not hurt you, which carry very little weight on the classification of the search engine.
